Ms. Gesel is currently working towards her bachelor's in elementary education and a certification in special education. She is a third year para, in addition she has delivered presentations at White Mountain Community College related to early childhood education. She is a parishioner at Gate of Heaven Parish where she assists with the youth group. Ms. Gesel is familiar with the spirit and philosophy of SRA having multiple nieces and nephews who attend here. She enjoys presenting age appropriate challenges to students, guiding them to really think things out and come to an understanding of the material, and watching them grow both academically and spiritually.
Ms. Hayes majored in writing at the Franciscan University of Steubenville with a focus on teaching writing and phonics. Her voice is familiar in the community as she is a cantor at Holy Family Church and serves as cantor at SRA school Masses. Being the eldest of 3 children Ms. Hayes has naturally acquired skills in caring for younger children (especially conflict resolution!). She is excited to help our students learn and grow.
